Who me?
I am a lifelong engineer and creator in the world of technology. Right before the advent of Covid my daughter gave me a gift of a 1-Gal beer brewing kit from Northern Brewer for Christmas.
That kit got me interested in brewing my own beer and frankly, saved my sanity by providing me with something fun and interesting to focus on during the worst of Covid.
Since that first batch I have learned a lot more about brewing and have even created some special and interesting beers to share and enjoy.
Even more than just the beer, I made a few good friends around the World who also share in this hobby.
As an engineer, the process and science of brewing intrigues me and triggers my creativity. After a couple of failed experiments I have the process down and can confidently share my experiences and lessons learned with others.
As much as I have learned throughout the last few years, there is always something new to discover and advice to be taken. Every brew batch is a new journey down that path started by others so long in the past. Be open to that journey and what you experience along the way.
I would love to hear from others about their adventures or interest in brewing. Please drop me an email at billsbestbrews@gmail.com and share your story.
Cheers and enjoy!

“Thirstily he set it to his lips, and as its cool refreshment began to soothe his throat, he thanked Heaven that in a world of much evil there was still so good a thing as ale.”
― Rafael Sabatini, Fortune's Fool
